l in love with this lipstick the second I saw it! The packaging is incredible, its so classy and elegant, even if I didn't like the shade I probably would have still bought it because it looks so beautiful. I love getting this one out of my bag and showing it off, it looks great in an evening clutch. It's a very small, compact lipstick and is shaped like a cute little bow.

I can't normally wear reds as they tend to wash me out, but this one is different. It's more of a semi-vibrant red with dark pink, not really what I'd associate with Marilyn as she wore more just red lipsticks. The pigmentation is incredible, and it stays put on the lips for hours. I could still see colour 6 hours after application and only needed to reapply about every 4 hours for a seamless look. Dior also have a matching nail polish in the same collection which goes really well with this lip colour.

The texture is amazing! It goes on like velvet, really soft, creamy and smooth. It isn't drying on the lips and is surprisingly moisturising for such a highly pigmented shade. It has a lovely floral scent which is detectable in the tube and once on the lips it also has no taste to it.
