Diors 3 Couleurs palletes give subtle shimmery eye shadow looks. Smoky Violet 961 consists of 3 shades, the first is a light lilac matte, slightly metallic shade which is great for highlighting the inner corners of the eyes and brow bones. The second is a dark purple/ violet shade on the top left which is slightly metallic and mildly shimmery. The third is my favourite of the 3 and is a really shimmery violet with pink and purple micro glitter.

All three colours are buildable, and in the swatch at the bottom are layered to their highest opaqueness. The pallet is versatile and all 3 shades are easily blendable. I don't find that these crease, fade or smudge even without an eye primer. They last all day without the need for retouching and I haven't experienced any fallout when using this pallet.

The packaging of Diors 3 Couleurs is streamline and light enough for travelling, yet still looks gorgeous on my dressing table. It opens up by sliding the lid backwards which makes the mirror pop up revealing the eye shadows beneath. I also really like the brushes included, they're great for if you're on the move and don't want to be carrying loads of make up brushes around with you. One has a sponge tip and is great for applying shadow to the lids. The other brush is great for blending out shades and applying the shadow to the crease area. Other 3 Couleurs Palettes that I've reviewed are
