Dior 3 Couleurs - Smoky Rose £34 |
I'm a huge fan of the Dior 3 Couleurs eye shadow, having currently reviewed both
Smoky Violet and
Smoky Nude. Its a great little pallet for daytime wear and it consists of a base shade (bottom colour) a darker matte shade (top left) and my favourite colour of the pallet, the glittery shade (top right). The glittery shade is super shimmery and looks great when applied on top of the other two colours.

Wearing Dior 3 Couleurs - Smoky Rose |
As you can see from the swatches, these pinks are very subtle and don't have much pigmentation, however in real life they did show up more than in the picture. I would recommend using the pinks with other colours such as greys and purples if you wanted a more pigmented look. I love these pinks as they give a natural pink look and are an easy way of wearing pink without it being overpowering. I haven't experienced much fall out with these, although the glittery shade can be slightly messy on application, but compared to other shimmery shades I've tried this one isn't too bad.

Dior 3 Couleurs - Smoky Rose |
I find that these eyeshadows last me a whole day when using an eyeshadow primer, and I don't experience any creasing, smudging or fading. I also tried the
Duo Eyeshadow stick in pink in the shop and couldn't believe how bright it was, I think the bright pinks would look much better on darker complexions as I am very pale and looked as though I had a black eye.

Princess points: 4/5
This is a really pretty pallet if your going for a subtle daytime look, the shadows seem to last all day without the need for re-applying. However, I was slightly disappointed with the lack of pigmentation.
