Soap And Glory Hand Food £2.50 |
Hand Food from Soap and glory is a heavily scented hand cream containing shea butter, macadamia oil and marshmallow. It has a gorgeous sweet scent which lingers around for a little while. Its the type of product that you want to reapply often as it smells so sweet and delicious. I'd say that it smells sweet and floral with a hint of marshmallow.

It has a thin to medium consistency which enables it to spread quickly and easily over the hands. I do find that it leaves a slightly greasy residue behind, more so than my
Clarins Hand Cream but this tends to disappear after about 15 minutes or so. As it's so heavily fragranced, I wouldn't recommend using it if you've got sensitive skin on your hands, or any cuts. I have a couple of paper cuts on my fingers and this product did sting more than other moisturisers that I have used.

I do find this hand cream to be really moisturising though, as it does slightly coat the hands, helping to protect them from the cold weather. I found that I had to reapply this every couple of hours, but I probably would have even if I didn't need to as it smells so irresistible! The packaging is typical of Soap & Glory, vintage, pink and cute. I also really liked that it has a pop open lid rather than a screw on top, as it makes application a lot less fiddly. I got the 50ml tube as it's a good little size to pop in my handbag, but it also comes in a 125ml tube.

I love how strong and overpowering this smells, it's moisturising and feels like it helps to protect my skin as well as hydrate it.
