Simple Spotless Skin Deep Clean Cleansing Pads Review

Simple Spotless Skin Deep Clean Cleansing Pads Review
Simple Spotless Skin Deep Clean Cleansing Pads £4.99**
Since my skins been a bit temperamental recently, especially on my chin where I keep breaking out I decided to give these a go.  These cleansing wipes from Simple contain 2 skin cleansing ingredients, zink and chamomile which help to remove oils and impurities from the surface of the skin.  They also contain phytosphingosine which is a natural antibateria to help clean the spot effected area and help prevent spots from spreading.  Although they don't contain any added perfume they smell really nice for cleansing wipes, I can't quite put my finger on what they remind me of but it's a sweet and refreshing scent.

Simple Kind To Skin Deep Cleansing Face Mask Review

Simple Deep Cleansing Face Mask £3.99
This Deep Cleansing Face Mask from Simple is delicate enough for sensitive skin, yet tough enough to give skin a thorough deep down cleanse.  It contains both Vitamin E and Pro Vitamin B5 which helps to leave skin silky soft.  Simple say that this product removes dead skin cells, and post use my skin definitely looked brighter, without being dried out like some deep cleansers or exfoliaters make it.

Nivea Pure & Natural Rich Body Moisturiser With Bio Argan & Bio Jojoba Oil Review

Nivea moisturiser with Bio Argan and Jojoba Oil £3.57
So about a year ago I used a Nivea moisturiser when I was in China, and it was the best, most hydrating moisturiser I'd ever tried.  Unfortunately when I left I had to leave it behind since my suitcase was already over its weight limit.  Since then I've been on a mission to find that miracle moisturiser again.  I picked this one up from my local Boots store about a fortnight ago and I cannot believe how much smoother my skin feels.  So much so that I think this could have been it.

Nivea Smooth Nourishing Anit-Dryness Hand Cream Review

Nivea Smooth Nourishing Hand Cream Review
Nivea Smooth Nourishing Hand Cream £1.50
Nivea Smooth Nourishing Anti-Dryness Hand Cream comes in both the usual 100ml and a 30ml travel size.  I got the travel size as I just wanted a small hand cream that wouldn't weigh my bag down.  This hand cream contains Macadamia nut oil which helps to act as a barrier to the skin.  It has a thin to medium consistency and doesn't leave too much of an oily residue behind once the cream has been massaged into hands.

Simple Spotless Skin Rapid Action Spot Zapper Review
Simple Spotless Skin Rapid Action Spot Zapper £5.49**
I haven't used any spot treatments since I was about 13, but recently my skin has been all over the place.  I've been breaking out on my chin, and even on my nose which is really unusual for me.  So when I was sent this Spot Zapper I was more than keen to give it a go.  Simple say that it helps to fight spots in just 4 hours and uses natural antibacterial goodness that's still kind enough for sensitive skin.

Soap And Glory Scrub Your Nose In It Review

Soap & Glory Scrub Your Nose In It £7.50
I remember years ago my sister had this and I always used to use it without asking her, so a few weeks ago I finally got round to buying a tube for myself.  This product is both an exfoliator and a face mask, so it's great for a quick morning scrub as well as for when you fancy giving your skin a DIY facial.

Simple Kind To Skin Refreshing Facial Wash Gel Review

Simple Kind To Skin Refreshing Facial Wash Gel Review
Simple Refreshing Facial Wash Gel £1
This used to be my HG morning cleaner before my boyfriend moved back home as I kept it at his flat and used it almost every day.  Unfortunately when he moved house he decided to bin all of my cleansers/ shampoos/ toothpastes etc.  So when I was in Primark the other day and came across this glorious product I promptly popped it in my basket without even checking the price tag.  To my amazement when I got to the till it was only £1, that's less than a bottle of Coke.

No7 Beautiful Skin Quick Thinking Make Up Wipes Review

No7 Beautiful Skin Quick Thinking Make Up Wipes Review
No7 Beautiful Skin Quick Thinking Wipes £7
I got these make up remover wipes as I had a £5 off No7 skincare voucher and I'm a sucker for promotions.  I don't think I'd spend £7 on face wipes but Boots constantly seem to have this offer on and for  £2 they're a bargain.  To be honest as I don't usually get on well with face wipes I wasn't expecting much from these.  It says on the pack that they're for all skin types, although it does say that they're hypo-allergenic on the front.

Dirty Works Best Foot Forward Foot Butter Review

Dirty Works Foot Butter £2.99
I first noticed this brand a few weeks ago whilst doing a bit of food shopping in Sainsbury's.  It caught my eye as it appeared to be a knock off of Soap & Glory.  I'm a huge fan of Soap & Glory so this range really appealed to me.  Since I spend the majority of my time on my feet I though I'd give this a go, and give my feet a little treat.  I've now been using it every night for just over 2 weeks, and my feet already feel softer and my skin looks visibly brighter.

Soap And Glory Hand Maid Antibacterial Hand Sanitizer Gel Review

Soap & Glory Hand Maid £2.50
To be honest I don't usually use hand sanitizer, but there seems to be a lot of colds and tummy bugs going around at the moment, and I really don't fancy getting ill.  So when I was in Boots last week I had a look for a non toxic smelling antibacterial hand sanitizer, and this one stood right out.  Unlike all the other boring, mundane sanitizers this one actually looked quite cute.  I picked it up straight away and gave it a little sniff.  As I'm a big fan of Soap & Glory products and love their overpowering scents I had high hopes for this one.  It didn't disappoint!  Hand Maid smells just like a cocktail you'd enjoy on a beach or a night out.  It's scent is fruity, but also has that alcohol scent which reminded me of a cosmopolitan.

Simple Kind To Skin Purifying Cleansing Lotion
Simples Kind To Skin Purifying Cleansing Lotion is a gentle creamy cleanser that is suitable for sensitive skin.  This product has been one of my staple cleansers ever since I started wearing make up around 8 or 9 years ago.  This product currently lives in my gym bag as its a really quick and easy cleanser.  It has a really moisturising thick texture which helps to hydrate the skin, without leaving an oily residue behind.  As it is suitable for sensitive skin, I also use this as an eye make up remover (as shown below).

Hand Food from Soap and glory is a heavily scented hand cream containing shea butter, macadamia oil and marshmallow.  It has a gorgeous sweet scent which lingers around for a little while.  Its the type of product that you want to reapply often as it smells so sweet and delicious.  I'd say that it smells sweet and floral with a hint of marshmallow.

Simple Relaxing Bath Soak
Simples Relaxing Bath Soak is a super bubbly bubble bath with subtle lavender aromas.  This bubble bath is perfect for unwinding in after a long day.  Simple say that it's full of skin loving nutrients such as chamomile oil which helps soften skin, lavender oil which has calming and relaxing benefits, glycerin which hydrates and nourishes skin and geranium oil that both conditions and regenerates skin.

Simple Refreshing Shower Gel £2.10
This Kind To Skin Shower Gel from Simple is both fragrance and colour free.  It has a thick gel texture which is great for shaving as it acts like a barrier cream protecting the skin.  I've really noticed an improvement in the skin on my legs since using this shower gel whilst shaving, they're a lot less dry than they were before.

Simple Kind To Skin Moisture Boost Hydro Mist Review

Simple Hydro Mist £5.99
Simple Kind To Skin Moisture Boost Hydro Mist is meant to give tired, dehydrated and dull skin an instant boost.  Simple say that the fine mist absorbs instantly into the skin, restoring optimum moisture balance and can even be used over make up.  I've tried using this several times and haven't noticed any difference other than it making my face wet.

Crabtree & Evelyn La Source Relaxing Body Lotion Review

Crabtree & Evelyn La Source Relaxing Body Lotion £16 for 250ml
This Relaxing La Source Body Lotion from Crabtree And Evelyn is a highly concentrated, rich moisturiser infused with a sea breeze fragrance which reminds me of the refreshing smell of a beach in wintertime.  This moisturiser absorbs quickly, usually within just under 10 minutes.  It leaves my skin feeling soft and almost baby-like all day without leaving any greasy residue behind.  I use this on my arms and chest as the fragrance is very strong and long lasting, yet didn't irritate my sensitive skin.

Dior Capture Totale Multi-Perfection Creme Review

Image from Debenhams.com
I've been trying out Diors Capture Totale Multi-Perfection Cream for a couple of weeks now, and I cannot believe how much I like it!  I only had 3 tiny samples of it and unfortunately they're almost all empty.  This cream has a gorgeous floral scent which lingers around for a few hours after application.  I have very sensitive skin and didn't experience any irritation from this cream.

Clarins Multi-Active Skin Renewal Serum Review

Clarins Multi-Active Skin Renewal Serum
Image from salonskincare.co.uk £47
Clarins Multi-Active Skin Renewal Serum is a silky smooth, floral smelling serum.  I've been using this for a couple of weeks after cleansing and toning but before applying Diors Capture Total Face Cream.  The texture is very thin and light, allowing it to be easily absorbed into the deeper layers of the skin.  As it is such a fine and silky formula, almost watery but smoother, it spreads really easily so a little bit of serum goes a long way.  I usually only need slightly less than a pea sized amount per use.  As it doesn't absorb straight away, its really easy to massage into your cheeks and forehead to get your blood pumping around the skin.
