OPI Kardashian Kollection Nail Polish Review - Kim-Pletely In Love

OPI Nail Polish - Kim-Pletely In Love Swatch £7.20
Kim-Pletely In Love is a light marshmallow pink filled with blue and pink micro shimmer.  It's part of the Nicole by OPI Kardashian Kollection range.  This shade is very sheer, I only applied 2 coats in the swatch above and you can clearly see my nails beneath.  However the pigmentation is buildable and this polish goes opaque in 4 coats, alternatively you could use a light pink shade as your base coat.

Essie Instant Dry Oil Review

Essie Instant Dry Oil
Essie Instant Dry Oil £8.55
Essie Instant Dry Oil is supposed to make your nail polish dry as soon as you apply it to your nails.  I've used this many times and haven't found this to be true.  The only advantage to using this product is that it helps to hydrate my cuticles.  If you look at the ingredients you'll find that this product is simply mineral oil mixed in with some fragrance.  Not too impressive for £8.55.  It doesn't sink into nail polish either, it simply sits on top of the nail until it rubs off onto the first thing that touches your nails.

Beauty UK Posh Polish Nail Polish Review - No 19 Antique Chic

Beauty UK Posh Polish Nail Polish - Antique Chic £3.49
Antique Chic from Beauty Uk is a super sparkly clear polish filled with both holographic hex glitter, as well as small glitter pieces.  All the glitter is silver in colour, but refracts light well, making it appear many different colours once applied.   I was really impressed with how dense the glitter was, I only needed 2 coats to make my nails look packed with glitter.  I applied this on top of Nails Inc's Strawberry Hill, and this polish successfully improved the wear time of my Nails Inc nail polish.

Nails Inc Nail Polish Review - Strawberry Hill

Nails Inc Nail Polish - Strawberry Hill Swatch £11
Strawberry Hill from Nails Inc is a fruity, rich deep pink that is slightly muted.  This polish has a medium, mildly gloopy consistency and goes fully opaque in just one coat!  I love this polish for when I don't have a lot of time, plus that one coat dries really quickly in under 5 minutes.  Strawberry Hill lasts around 2 days before I get any tip wear but can last up to a week before I experience any major chipping.

Essie Metallic Collection Nail Polish Review - Blue Rhapsody

Essie Nail Polish - Blue Rhapsody £7.99
Blue Rhapsody from Essie is part of their Metallic nail polish collections.  This shade is a shimmery, light blue/ silver which has a very reflective finish.  The texture of this polish is creamy and thick, and the polish goes opaque in just 2 coats.  Due to it's creamy texture, I find that this polish lasts me up to 3 days before I get any tip wear and up to 5 days till it chips.

Maybelline Color Show Nail Polish Review - 265 Wine Shimmer

Maybelline Color Show - Wine Shimmer Swatch £2.99
Wine Shimmer is one of Maybelline's new Color Show nail varnishes.  This shade is a raspberry colour densely packed with lots of tiny specks of shimmery glitter.  The formula of this polish is very thin, I used 2 coats, but for full opaqueness I'd recommend applying either 3 layers of Wine Shimmer, or using a raspberry nail polish as a base coat along with 2 coats of Wine Shimmer.

Bourjois So Laque Ultra Shine Nail Polish Review - 33 Tangerine Fatal

Bourjois Nail Polish - 33 Tangerine Fatal £5.99
Bourjois' Tangerine Fatal is a bright almost neon orange shade.  I must of had this for at least three years, its a great colour pop shade for summer.  These polishes from Bourjois have a super glossy finish to them even without a top coat!  I like how thick and cream the texture is, and the polish goes opaque in 2 coats.  As it has such a creamy formula this isn't the quickest drying nail polish.  My first coat took about 10 minutes to dry and my second took around 20 minutes.

Barry M Nail Polish Review - 355 Gold Mine Glitter

Barry M Nail Paint - 355 Gold Mine Glitter £2.99
Gold Mine Glitter Nail Polish is jet black in colour with lots of gold hex glitter pieces.  I love this nail polish, it's both super glittery and a wearable black.  The glitter is really densely packed in, making it sparkly and quick to apply.  I used 2 coats and found that it went both ultra glittery and opaque black.  The consistency of this polish is pretty thin which enables it to dry quickly.  Both coats only took just over 5 minutes each to dry fully.

OPI Kardashian Kolor Nail Polish Review - Wear Something Spar-Kylie

OPI Nail Polish - Wear Something Spar-Kylie £9
Wear Something Spar-Kylie is a super glittery pink nail polish.  I'm really impressed at how dense the glitter is, it's actually the best glitter polish I have ever used.  After just one coat it's as glittery as Barry M's glitter polishes are in 2 or 3 coats.  After 3 coats of this shade by OPI my nails are fully opaque with glitter.  The liquid that holds the glitter together is also pink which adds to the intensity of the shade.

Essie No Chips Ahead Top Coat Review

Essie No Chips Ahead Top Coat
This Top Coat from Essie claims to keep nails chip free for up to 10 days.  Nail polish usually lasts up to 2 days on me before I start to see any tip wear and then a further 3 days before any major chipping.  I used this top coat over the top of OPI's Wear Something Spar-Kylie and it kept the polish chip both chip and tip wear free for four days.  However by 9PM on the fourth day I noticed that it was already starting to chip on my ring finger nail.

Essie Metalic Collection Nail Polish Review - No Place Like Chrome

Essie Metalic Collection Nail Polish Review - No Place Like Chrome Swatch
Essie - No Place Like Chrome £7.99
Essies No Place Like Chrome is a metallic high shine finish, silver/ chrome coloured nail polish.  Unlike most metalic nail polishes the formula of this one by Essie is both thick and creamy and has the added benefit of being ultra shimmery.  Due to this, the polish is pretty long lasting and usually lasts 2 to 3 days before I get any tip wear and up to a week before chipping.

Pretty Quik Instant Nail Polish Remover Review

Pretty Quik Instant Nail Polish Remover Review
Pretty Quik Instant Nail Polish Remover £2.50
Pretty Quick Instant nail polish remover is the best nail polish remover I have ever used!
I only got it yesterday and have just used it to remove my OPI Sealed With A Kris nail polish.  I couldn't believe how quick and easy it was to use.  You simply dip one finger in the pot at a time, give it a little wiggle around the pot and against the sponge for about 5 seconds and your nail polish is completely dissolved

Miss Sporty Lasting Colour Nail Polish Review - 380 Hot Pink

Miss Sporty Lasting Colour Nail Polish Review - 380 Hot Pink Swatch
Miss Sporty - 380 Hot Pink Swatch

This nail polish from Miss Sporty is a neon, Barbie hot pink.  The colour is true to what you see in the bottle, it has really fine micro shimmer which gives it a subtle shimmer.
It has a thin formula and goes opaque in 3 coats.  I find this polish really easy to apply as the applicator brush fans out quite wide, allowing for a full application in just a couple of brush strokes.

OPI Nail Polish Review - Sealed With A Kris

OPI Nail Polish Review - Sealed With A Kris Swatch
OPI - Sealed With A Kris Swatch £9
Sealed With A Kris is from the Kardasian Kolor range from OPI.  This is a medium to dark shade of red, it's not too out there, its quite a sophisticated colour.  It's the type of red that would sit well with most skin tones without looking vampy or washing paler skin tones out.

Nails Inc Nail Polish Review - Tudor Way

Nails Inc Nail Polish Review - Tudor Way Swatch
Nails Inc - Tudor Way Swatch
Tudor Way by Nails Inc is one of my favourite navy blue shades.
It goes opaque in just one coat and I never get any brush stroke marks or streaks when using this polish.  It has a really glossy finish and with a top coat lasts me around 3 days before I experience any tip wear, and around 5 or 6 days before chipping.  It reminds me a little of Chanels Blue Rebel, but Tudor Way is darker and has no micro shimmer.

MUA Fur Effect Nails Review And Tutorial - Flurry Bobbin

MUA Fur Effect Nails Review And Tutorial - Flurry Bobbin Swatch
MUA Fur Effects Swatch
I've read a lot of mixed reviews on MUA's Fur Effect Nails but had never got round to trying it out for myself.
After getting this in Flurry Bobbin, which is a dark purple from Superdrug a few days ago I couldn't wait to try it out!  The instructions aren't that great and to be honest I didn't follow them, but instead just applied them in the same way that I would with loose glitter.  Below is a quick guide on how to apply MUA's Fur Effect Nails.
