I can't believe it's taken me this long to try out a crackle nail varnish! When I first saw it start to crackle into the crocodile skin pattern I was literally like wow!
I'm wearing Croc Effects over the top of my
Barry M Christmas Edition Gold Nail Paint and it looks amazing, I genuinely can't stop looking at my nails.

To apply, I first painted my nails with a thin coat in gold and then let them dry for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes I then thinly applied Croc Effects onto each nail. At first I thought I'd applied it too thickly as even when you use apply a thin layer the polish appears almost opaque black. But after a few minutes the black suddenly started cracking and forming a pattern, it was amazing! I applied it to one hand at a time so that my gold base coat didn't dry too much.

I haven't used a top coat on this one, but I will definitely use one next time I wear this as It started chipping in the middle of the nail after a day of wear. I think this was due to both polishes being thin and metalic and the nature of the polish is that its already cracked meaning its easier for bits to chip off.

These look amazing and I can't wait to show them off tomorrow. Application was a lot easier than I expected and with a top coat it should be fairly long lasting.
