L'oreal Nude Magique CC Cream Review - Anti Redness

L'oreal's Nude Magique CC Creams are a brand new range of Colour Correction Creams that have hit Loreal stands this month.  I never really thought much of CC creams, I don't know why, but they just never really interested me.  Probably because for the last month or so, I've been so hung up on Diors Nude BB Cream I haven't taken much notice of other complexion products.

This range consists of three CC Creams which are all aimed at different complexion problems.  They are Anti Dullness, Anti Fatigue and Anti Redness.  I got the latter of the three since I have always suffered from redness and blemishes.  I've previously tried many green concealers, but found that they weren't good enough to treat my redness.  This was because they were aimed at a small area of the face, whereas I suffer from redness over the whole of my whole face.

When I first squeezed a bit of product out of the tube, I was surprised to see tiny dark beads within the liquid, it looked almost like an exfoliator.  On application they seemed to disappear, and the liquid goes from green to a foundation colour which matches my skin tone perfectly!  This CC Cream was really easy to apply, and I found that I was able to layer it up in areas where I wanted more coverage.  As it's such a buildable cream I was able to use it alone without foundation, BB cream or primer and it lasted me the whole day.  I also noticed that no matter how much product I applied, it didn't go cakey or orange.

When I went to remove this, it came off as a foundation colour onto my cotton pad.  I was really amazed at how well this product blended in with my skin tone, and I received a complement from a customer I served at work who told me I had an amazing complexion.

What L'oreal Say:
A 5 in 1 Perfecting Cream:

  • Flawless coverage
  • Perfectly even skin texture
  • Fresh dewy glow
  • 24 hour hydration
  • SPF 12
I think that this CC cream does exactly as it says, it's beaten all my expectations, and is now my favourite complexion product.  I do think the SPF 12 is a bit of a random number, but it's better than nothing.  Below are some before and after photo's.  I'll apologise now about my hair, I got it cut yesterday and I hate it.  It looks like I'm wearing a wig, which is why I didn't do any straight on photo's.  But most of my redness is on my cheeks anyway, so you should be able to see how dramatic the difference is.

Princess points: 5/5
This product has completely won me over!  I'm now a massive fan of CC Creams, and I don't think I'll be going a day without wearing this any time soon.  I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who suffers from redness or blemishes.
