MUA Intense Kisses High Intensity Lip Gloss Review - Kiss And Tell

MUA Intense Kisses High Intensity Lip Gloss Review - Kiss And Tell
MUA - Kiss And Tell £2
Kiss And Tell from MUA is a darkish vibrant pink with red undertones.  It's highly pigmented and reminds me more or a lacquer than a lip gloss.  This gloss is a very similar product to Rimmel's Apocalips as it's so well pigmented without having that horrible sticky texture.  Kiss And Tell has a sheen to its finish, it isn't super glossy but gives lips a healthy looking shine.

MAC Cremesheen Sagon Summer Lipstick Review

MAC Cremesheen Sagon Summer Lipstick Review
MAC Cremesheen Sagon Summer £14
MAC's Sagon Summer is one of their Cremesheen lipsticks.  It's an orange shade with warm undertones and has a sheen to it's finish.  This lipstick has average pigmentation and contains gold micro-shimmer which is slightly visible on the lips.  It has a fairly thick and moisturising formula which is comfortable and doesn't dry out the lips.  It does however enhance chapped lips due to the shimmeryness of the lipstick.

MAC Cremesheen Lipstick Review - Lickable

MAC Cremesheen Lipstick Review - Lickable
MAC Lipstick - Lickable £14
MAC's Cremesheen lipstick in Lickable is a deep fuchsia pink shade with blue undertones.  It's highly pigmented giving great colour pay off in only a couple of swipes.  Lickable has a mostly matte finish with a slight sheen which wears off after about an hour or so.  This lipstick is extremely long lasting, I find that I only need to reapply it every 4 or 5 hours.  It does stain the lips, and when it fades it does so pretty evenly.

MAC Cremesheen Lipstick Review - Creme Cup

MAC Cremesheen Lipstick Review - Creme Cup
MAC Lipstick - Creme Cup £14
Creme Cup is one of MAC's Cremesheen Lipsticks. It is a nude light pink shade with blue undertones.  I especially love lipsticks with blue undertones as I find that they help to make my teeth appear whiter.  I ordered this shade online since I don't live near a MAC counter and was slightly apprehensive about what the shade would look like, and whether it would suit my skin tone.  As it's more pink based than nude I've found it pretty easy to wear, and I think it would suit most skin tones.  It's a fairly natural lip colour on me and gives a nice groomed but subtle effect.

MUA Get Out There Plumping Lip Gloss Review - Sienna

MUA Get Out There Plumping Lip Gloss Review - Sienna
MUA Lip Gloss - Sienna £2
I'm going to start this review by apologising for the awful photos.  Unfortunately both my laptop and camera have both decided to die at the same time, and I could only afford to buy a laptop this month.  But hopefully I'l be able to get a new one sorted soon and get these awful pictures replaced.

Sienna By MUA is a very orangey coral shade with tiny glitter shimmery particles which are only visible in the tube.  This lip gloss is pretty well pigmented and can be worn alone or over a lipstick.  I think this gloss looks really nice over the top of MAC's Costa Chic, as it helps to even out the finish of the lipstick.  It has a shiny finish, although it isn't as glossy as most other lip glosses.

Collection 2000 Volume Sensation Lipstick Review - 5 Pretty Please

Collection 2000 Volume Sensation Lipstick - 5 Pretty Please £2.99
Pretty Please by Natural Collection is a coral shade with red and pink undertones.  It's well pigmented and  has a slight sheen to it's finish.  The formula is thin yet slightly creamy.  It isn't drying on the lips, although it does show up any cracks that you may have.  I found that a problem due to my permanently chapped lips, but when I used a lip balm underneath it wasn't too bad.

MUA Lipstick Review - Shade 2

MUA Lipstick Review - Shade 2
MUA Lipstick - Shade 2 £1

Shade 2 from MUA is a deep raspberry colour with a slight sheen to its finish.  It has good pigmentation, you only need to swipe it over your lips a few times to get great colour pay off.  It has a sweet vanilla scent which is detectable in the bullet, but disappears once on the lips.  Shade 2 has a moisturising, creamy formula which leaves my lips feeling comfortable and hydrated even after a full days wear.

Bourjois Effect 3D Lip Gloss Review - 46 Rose Lyric

Bourjois Effect 3D - 46 Rose Lyric £7.69
Rose Lyric is a mid toned, shimery hot pink in the tube, and applies more naturally to the lips.  This gloss has a semi- sheer opaqueness and can be worn alone for a more subtle, glossy glow or paired with a lip liner or lipstick for a more statement lip.  Rose Lyric is dense with smooth shimmer that really adds dimension to the lips.

Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipstick Review - 910 Shocking Coral

Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipstick - Shocking Coral £7.19
Shocking Coral is one of Maybelline's new Colour Sensational Lipsticks which were released a few weeks ago.  I love a nice bright colour pop lipstick, and this one is no exception!  Shocking Coral is a bright, almost neon coral shade with pink undertones.  If anything, once applied it looks more pink than coral, but I guess this depends on your natural lip colour.  The lipstick itself is pretty opaque, you only need to swipe it across your lips a few times to get great colour payoff.

Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick Review - 02 Beige Trench

Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick - 02 Beige Trench £7.99
02 Beige Trench is one of 18 new lipsticks from Bourjois.  It sits in their 'Preppy' category as this range is split up into 3 groups consisting of: Preppy, Colour Block and Night Out.  I have also reviewed shade 11 Fraise Remix which is one of the Colour Block shades.  Beige Trench is a nude lipstick with greyish undertones.  It's quite a dull shade but as it has a slight sheen to its finish, which keeps it wearable and flattering.  This lipstick reminded me of a shade that Kim Kardashian would wear, and would look great with a heavy dose of bronzer and a dark smoky eye.

MUA Lipstick Review - Shade 8

MUA Lipstick - Shade 8 £1
Shade 8 from MUA is a shimmery deep red with berry tones.  This lipstick is pretty well pigmented and goes opaque in just a couple of swipes.  The formula is creamy which makes it really easy to apply straight out the bullet, no need for a lip brush.  I was really impressed with staying power of this lipstick, as all of MUA's lipsticks seem to vary quite a lot in wear time.  This lasted me around 4 hours before I had to reapply, and didn't come off too much when I ate.

Bourjois Effect 3D Lip Gloss Review - 29 Rose Charismatic

Bourjois Effect 3D Lip Gloss - Rose Charismatic £7.69
Rose Charismatic is a sheer, super sparkly lip gloss from Bourjois.  This lip gloss reminds me a lot of Revlon's Colourburst Lip Gloss in 040 Crystal Water but Rose Charismatic is has a sheer light pink sheen to it whereas Crystal Water is clear.  Whilst this lip gloss from Bourjois isn't really pigmented, it does give the lips and incredible shimmery shine without having a gritty texture, as the glitter is very fine and can't be felt once on the lips.

Bourjois Effect 3D Lipgloss Review - Rose Polemic 04

Bourjois Effect 3D Lip Gloss - 04 Rose Polemic £7.69
Bourjois 3D Effects Lipgloss in 04 Rose Polemic is a shimmery medium toned candy pink.  On the lips this lipgloss is fairly sheer but is really shimmery and glossy.  It isn't the most pigmented lip gloss out there, but it's great for wearing over the top of lipsticks and for if you've got heavy eye make up on and want something glam on your lips without it being overpowering.

MUA Lipstick Review - Shade 12

MUA Lipstick Review - Shade 12
MUA Lipstick Shade 12
Shade 12 by MUA is a glittery medium toned, hot pink lipstick with peach undertones.  Its not majorly pigmented, but gives a nice amount of colour and sheen to the lips.  The formula is pretty thick and creamy, slightly waxy and has a waxy lipstick smell mixed in with a hint of vanilla.  The lipstick contains chunky pieces of glitter which are ever so slightly gritty on the lips but give a gorgeous sparkly finish.  It reminds me of a lipstick that a Barbie doll would wear.

Barry M Ultra Moisturising Lipstick Review - 161 Flamingo peach
Barry M Ultra Moisturising Lipstick - Flamingo Peach
161 Flamingo Peach by Barry M is one of their Ultra Moisturising Lipsticks which were released late last year.  Flamingo Peach is between a warm dark peach shade and a coral light red.  It is really similar in colour to Chanels Rouge Allure Velvet in 43 La Favorite, which is slightly redder and more pigmented.

Barry M Green Lipstick Review - TMLP 304
Barry M Green Lipstick - TMLP 304 £4.49
Ahh!  This little lipstick from Barry M is the coolest thing ever, it's green in the tube, yet on your lips it's pink!
When I first saw this a while ago I genuinely thought it was a green lipstick, I remember shunning it and thinking why would anyone want that?  But when I swatched it in Boots a few weeks ago I couldn't believe how pink it went.  It also seemed to stain my hand for hours, I must have washed my hands about 3 times before it disappeared.

Collection 2000 Volume Sensation Lipstick Review - 10 Sea Shell

Collection 2000 Volume Sensation Lipstick Review - 10 Sea Shell
Collection 2000 Volume Sensation Lipstick - 10 Sea Shell £2.99
Sea Shell is one of 11 Volume Sensation Lipsticks by Collection 2000.  It is a warm toned salmon pink shade with peach undertones and a metallic sheen finish.
It is well pigmented and applies to a full coverage in just a few swipes.  This lipstick has a slightly fruity yet waxy scent which disappears upon application.  As it's a volumising lipstick it does make my lips tingle a little which I quite like, and Collection 2000 claim that it is made up of 40% volumising ingredients.  My lips do appear to be slightly more plumped up than normal when I've been wearing this for a while.

CHANEL Rouge Allure Extrait De Gloss Lip Gloss Review - Insolence 57

CHANEL Rouge Allure Extrait De Gloss Lip Gloss Review - Insolence 57
Chanel Rouge Allure Lipstick - 57 Insolent £25
Insolence 57 is my first Chanel Rouge Allure lip gloss, its a mid toned milky pink colour that reminds me of a really strong nesquick milkshake.
The formula of these lip glosses is thick and gel-like, slightly gloopy, but not too tacky.  In comparison to Chanels Glossimers, the Rouge Allure formula isn't as tacky or as sticky.  This lip gloss goes really well with Chanels Le Vernis nail polish in 489 Rose Insolent.

MUA Lipstick Review - Shade 7

MUA Lipstick Review - Shade 7
MUA Lipstick - Shade 7 £1
Shade 7 from MUA is a warm coral with pink undertones, it has a slightly metallic sheen finish. This lipstick is well pigmented, you get full colour payoff in just a couple of strokes.
The colour is pretty vibrant and has a vanilla scent which is apparent in the tube but is undetectable on the lips. It contains micro shimmer which helps to give it its metallic finish. It's really moisturising and my lips were left in excellent condition after a whole days wear.

MUA Lipstick Review - Shade 3
MUA Lipstick - Shade 3 £1
MUA's Shade 3 is a vivid fuchsia with blue undertones it has micro shimmer which is visible in the bullet and on the lips.  Its slightly darker than MAC's Impassioned with about the same amount of pigmentation, which really surprised me since its only £1!
It has a healthy sheen finish and a moisturising formula which hydrates my lips and makes them look smooth and in good condition. This lipstick glides on smoothly and goes fully opaque in just a few strokes, it also lasted me about 3 hours, without leaving too much of a stain behind.
