Rimmels Sun Shimmer Bronzing Compact Powder in Medium shimmer gives skin a sun kissed glow without turning skin orange and giving it the 'oopa loompa' effect.  This bronzer contains micro shimmer that gives skin a subtle sheen, and stops it from giving skin that dirty look.  The bronzer itself is buildable, so you can use it to add just a slight bit of colour, or to give a really bronzed and tanned look.

The compact powder is soft and picks up easily onto a bronzer brush.  It's easy to apply and blendable.  As the colour can be built up, you can gradually add more product to help avoid overdoing it.  As it's a shimmery bronzer, I tent to use this on the apples of my cheeks, cheekbones, down my nose, on the tip of my chin and across my forehead as these are the areas that naturally tan the most on me.

I have this bronzer in Medium shimmer which I'd say is suitable for fair to olive skin tones since it is such a buildable colour.  Although it does come in a light shimmer shade which might be preferable if you have lighter skin.  I wouldn't use this product for contouring as I'd rather use matte bronzers to give a more natural, subtle effect.  This lasts all day on me without the need to retouching.

This bronzer gives a natural looking glow to skin, but can also be built up as more of a fake tan.  It has a really nice sheen and is long lasting.
