Essies No Place Like Chrome is a metallic high shine finish, silver/ chrome coloured nail polish. Unlike most metalic nail polishes the formula of this one by Essie is both thick and creamy and has the added benefit of being ultra shimmery. Due to this, the polish is pretty long lasting and usually lasts 2 to 3 days before I get any tip wear and up to a week before chipping.

As I've said before, I love Essies applicator brushes. They're thin and wide and allow for streak free application in just one or two stroke per nail. They are very similar to the application brushes in Dior nail polishes, but are less than half the price.

This polish goes fully opaque in 2 coats and is pretty fast drying. The polish gives the effect that you're wearing nail foils and are really reflective which makes them stand out. I would recommend using a ridge filler base coat with this polish as because its so metallic it does accentuate lines and ridges slightly.

This is a really long lasting nail polish, especially for such a metallic shade and is really easy to apply.
