Black Amber is one of Marks and Spencers latest editions to their Autograph perfume range.
It's an Eau De Parfum rather than an Eau De Toilette which most of their other perfumes are. Other than the price, the main difference between the two is that Eau De Parfum is a purer form of perfume and therefore lasts longer than Eau De Toilette. I've been wearing this perfume for 13 hours today and can still smell it on my wrists which is really impressive for a perfume that cost £14 for 40ml.

The bottle looks a lot more expensive than it is and looks really pretty yet sophisticated on my dressing table. It looks as though its made of glass but the lid is really lightweight so I think it might be plastic. It also has a cute little chain for decoration dangling from just below the pump.

Marks and Spencer describe it as: A captivating blend of night jasmine, patchouli and vanilla, brightened with the warming aroma of sunny mandarin. To me it smells warm and fruity with a slight zesty scent. It isn't overpowering, nor is it undetectable, it's sort of a perfect medium between the two.

You can get this from Marks and Spencer stores or online for £14 for 40ml or £22.50 for 75ml and they are currently on offer as buy one get one half price for mothers day.

This is a lovely fruity perfume at a great price, it comes in a pretty bottle and is long lasting.
