Treseme Heat Defence £4.69 |
I've been relying on this heat protector spray for the last 4 or 5 years and despite blow drying and straitening daily my hair's in pretty good condition. Treseme's Heat Defence protects hair from heat damage up to 230 degrees. It works by acting as a barrier between the hair shaft and the emitted heat. As well as this it protects hair by making straighteners and tongs glide smoother through hair, preventing the plates from sticking which could otherwise cause too much heat to go to one area.

This product has a nice subtle scent which disappears after heat has been applied. Treseme say that the formula is heat activated and with continued use prevents up to 82% less breakage. It also helps to detangle hair as it coats the cuticles making them smoother and flatter. The packaging is really handy as it has a locking system which makes it great for travelling. It also comes in a travel version if you want something lighter.

How to use:
I apply this liberally from roots to ends in layers to towel dried hair. I then blow dry and straighten my hair as normal. You can also apply this to dry hair, but apply it sparingly as the spray nozzle does dispense quite a generous amount of product.
