Soap & Glory Scrub Your Nose In It £7.50 |
I remember years ago my sister had this and I always used to use it without asking her, so a few weeks ago I finally got round to buying a tube for myself. This product is both an exfoliator and a face mask, so it's great for a quick morning scrub as well as for when you fancy giving your skin a DIY facial.

Before I started using this product again I was beginning to breakout badly on my chin. This was probably caused by too much swimming and repeatedly going in the steam room with a full face of make up on. I've only been using this product three times a week for 2 weeks. And have been using it as a face mask once a week and as an exfoliator the other 2 times a week. During this period my spots have cleared up massively, and thankfully I've only got the remnants of one left.

Soap & Glory Scrub Your Nose In It |
Soap & Glory claim that Scrub Your Nose In It helps to reduce the size of pores and improves the brightness of your skin. So far I've noticed a slight reduction in pore size (although mine weren't too big to begin with). I've definitely also noticed that my skin looks a lot brighter and more radiant. This isn't too surprising since I hadn't exfoliated since I had my last facial which was in January. So my skin was probably coated with dead skin cells that were desperate to be scrubbed away.

As I've mentioned before on other skincare posts, I do have suffer from sensitive skin especially on my face and I haven't experienced any irritation from using this exfoliator. You wouldn't think that it would be too gentle since it has a gorgeous fresh and minty scent which is pretty strong. The smell makes my skin feel really fresh and is rather awakening when used in the morning.

Dirty Works Cosmetic Headband |
Soap & Glory recommend using a pea sized amount of product on your T-Zone and then spreading the product out to other areas which are less prone to pore-clogging. I usually apply about 2 pea sized amounts to my nose and chin first using circular motions to scrub away any dead skin. I then smooth it out to the rest of my face, being more gentle on other areas. When I use it as a face mask I tend to leave it on for up to 10 minutes rather than 3. This is because I don't find that it dries until you hit the 10 minute marker. I also picked up these handy headbands from Dirty Works which are great for stopping the product from getting in your hair, which is a massive pet hate of mine.
