Percy & Reed Smoothed, Sealed & Sensational Volumising No Oil Oil For Fine Hair Review

Percy & Reed Smoothed, Sealed & Sensational Volumising No Oil Oil For Fine Hair Review
Percy & Reed Volumising No Oil Oil £14
This month has been amazing in terms of the amount of magazines offering beauty freebies!  I got this one free with my copy of Glamour Magazine and for £2 it was such a bargain, especially as you get 30ml of product and the full sized bottle costs £14 for 60ml.  This is my first product from Percy & Reed and it claims to make hair smooth, sleek and shiny whilst also adding volume.  As well as containing Vitamin B5 which helps to nourish, add strength and repair hair whilst wheat proteins within the oil act as a heat protector.

To be honest I didn't think that an oil would be able to add volume to my hair, okay it could of made it look thicker by coating the strands, but not fully volumised.  I was right, after using this product my hair didn't look any fuller or more volumised.  Not only this but it didn't really feel much softer either, in fact it made it feel more straw-like.  On top of this if I used any more than a pea sized amount my hair felt greasy and flat.  It has a light scent which I can only describe as a generic hair product smell.

 How to apply:
Work a really small pea sized amount of product through mid-lengths to ends of towel dried hair then style as usual.  Alternatively you can warm the oil in the palm of your hand and lightly swirl a bronzer brush in the oil and lightly smooth the brush over the surface layer of your hair to tame flyaways.

You can get the full sized bottle of this product from Selfridges for £14.

Product score: 1/5
This product did nothing for my hair, it didn't make it softer or add volume.  It also didn't feel too much like an oil as it was very watered down and had an almost gel like consistency.
