L'oreal Nude Magique BB Blush - Universal Rosy Blush £7.99 |
First of all I don't really understand why its called BB? Since it doesn't contain any skincare ingredients, nor does it claim to benefit the skin in any way. Secondly L'oreal claim that it changes colour on contact with the skin. It says quite clearly on the back of the tube that it's a:
Transparent blush texture that turns pink on contact with skin for an instant healthy glow. Magic! However, as you can see in the pictures, the gel comes out of the tube pink and therefore didn't appear to change colour at all.

This blusher is a medium, cool toned toned hot pink shade. It definitely gives the skin a rosy, duey glow and lasted a full day on my cheeks. It has a gel texture which smooths onto the skin easily and dries within a couple of minutes. Once on the skin it feels more like a silicone based primer rather than a blush.

To apply this I only needed a tiny amount of product, as a little goes a long way. I tend to find that half a pea sized blob does both cheeks, but I'd advise starting off with a really small amount and then building it up. I found it pretty easy to apply, I just used my fingers and then rubbed it in a little. It's also really handy for travelling as you don't really need a brush and it's nice and compact.

Princess points: 4/5
I liked this blush, I though it was quick and easy to apply and loved that I didn't need to do any touch ups. I'm not giving it 5/5 as I think both the product name and description and incredibly misleading.
