MUA Lip Gloss - Sienna £2 |
I'm going to start this review by apologising for the awful photos. Unfortunately both my laptop and camera have both decided to die at the same time, and I could only afford to buy a laptop this month. But hopefully I'l be able to get a new one sorted soon and get these awful pictures replaced.
Sienna By MUA is a very orangey coral shade with tiny glitter shimmery particles which are only visible in the tube. This lip gloss is pretty well pigmented and can be worn alone or over a lipstick. I think this gloss looks really nice over the top of
MAC's Costa Chic, as it helps to even out the finish of the lipstick. It has a shiny finish, although it isn't as glossy as most other lip glosses.

Wearing MUA Lip Gloss - Sienna |
I've found that the wear time of Sienna is pretty good, usually lasting around 3 hours, and up to 4 with a lipstick underneath. The texture of this gloss is smooth and isn't tacky at all. As for it's plumping claims, I didn't notice any difference in the size of my lips, nor did I notice a tingling sensation. However my lips did seem to heat up a bit, I wouldn't say that it burnt but I could definitely feel a change in temperature.

MUA Lip Gloss - Sienna |
I usually find MUA's packaging pretty good considering how cheap their products are, but this one does look really cheap. It's overly long and thin which is neither appealing, nor is it that practical. Although the applicator tip allows for easy application, the wand itself is too long and it feels like you have to apply it from quite a distance.

Superdrug for £2.00.
Princess points: 3/5
Although I really like the shade and how pigmented this gloss is, I don't like the packaging at all and personally I prefer glosses that give lips more of a shiny finish.
