MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot Review - Frozen Violet

MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot Review - Frozen Violet
MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot - Frozen Violet £14.50
MAC's Paint Pot in Frozen Violet is a shimmery, taupe shade, rather than the frosted purple silver that MAC describes it as.  As far as pigmentation goes this shade is pretty sheer, although it can be built up in thin layers.  It has a thin and buttery texture with smooths onto lids evenly and is extremely blendable.  This is a great eye shadow for when you don't have much time, but still want a shimmery smoky eye.

I applied this on top of MUA's Undress Your Skin Primer and found that it lasted a full day without any fading, smudging or creasing.  It's also got a lot more shimmer than I was expecting as I bought this online where it appeared more matte.  It seems to be made up of highly dense micro glitter particles mixed in with the taupe pigment.

Product score: 5/5
Easy to apply, long lasting and gives a gorgeous shimmery, creamy finish.  I love the formula and can't wait to get my hands on Chilled On Ice!
