Blue Rhapsody from Essie is part of their Metallic nail polish collections. This shade is a shimmery, light blue/ silver which has a very reflective finish. The texture of this polish is creamy and thick, and the polish goes opaque in just 2 coats. Due to it's creamy texture, I find that this polish lasts me up to 3 days before I get any tip wear and up to 5 days till it chips.

As with all Essie nail polishes, the applicator brush is excellent. Its wide and flat which allows for quick and mess free application in just a couple of strokes per nail. However, as with
No Place Like Chrome, another polish from Essie's metallic collection I would definitely recommend using a ridge filler base coat as this polish really enhances the appearance of ridges or cracks.

I love how long lasting this polish is for a metallic shade, it's just a shame that it shows up ridges so well.
I love metallic nail polish - although I had the same problems with the Barry M one showing all the ridges. Just looks so cool though! I find a thick base coat really helped :)
