A few weeks ago I was getting my makeup done at the Clarins counter and the CA used their bronzing duo in 02 on me. To be honest I never thought I'd buy any makeup from Clarins as I don't really associate Clarins with makeup, even though I've relied on their skincare for years. But I was really impressed with the shimmery natural glow it gave me. I got this bronzer in shade 02, which is the middle shade, they also do a lighter one which didn't really show up much on my skin and a darker one for more olive skin tones.

It says on the box that it is 'formulated with minerals and plant extracts that help protect and care for your skin', It also has an SPF 15. As it is a duo, it comes with 2 shades of bronzer, the one on the left is a peachy salmon colour which isn't too pigmented or shimmery, but can be built up through layering. The right hand shade is considerably darker and when swatched appears to be a very orange toned brown. On my skin it doesn't go too orangey, but I tend to wear it quite sheer. I usually use the darker shade on my cheekbones and the lighter one on my forehead, nose and chin. I wouldn't use this bronzer for contouring as it has shimmer in it.

I find this bronzer lasts a full day without the need to reapply. The bronzer feels light on the skin, but in the compact you do need to roll your brush around in it a couple of times before any product gets picked up. I don't find it the easiest bronzer to blend, but when I applied well gives a really nice subtle glow. The packaging is nothing special although it does come with a cute little pouch and a mirror.

This bronzer looks great when applied lightly to give the face a natural glow, but can be a bit tricky to blend and pick up out the compact.
