Simple Kind To Skin Refreshing Facial Wash Gel Review

Simple Refreshing Facial Wash Gel £1
This used to be my HG morning cleaner before my boyfriend moved back home as I kept it at his flat and used it almost every day.  Unfortunately when he moved house he decided to bin all of my cleansers/ shampoos/ toothpastes etc.  So when I was in Primark the other day and came across this glorious product I promptly popped it in my basket without even checking the price tag.  To my amazement when I got to the till it was only £1, that's less than a bottle of Coke.

So for the last few days I've been using this face wash and I can see why I used to love it so much!  It doesn't really have a scent, as with all Simple products which make it more gentle on the skin.  But it really does lather up on contact with water, without making your skin feel dry or uncomfortable.  Leaving your skin feeling fresh and clean.

Although Simple doesn't suggest using it around the delicate eye area, as many of my readers will know I'm notorious for getting products in my eyes and so far I haven't experienced any irritation from getting product in them.  I've also found that this face wash does a pretty good job at removing my mascara.  I apply this whilst in the shower, when I'm waiting for my conditioner to soak in.  I apply it to my face when its wet and gently lather it around my face in small circular motions.  I then rinse off and continue to wash out my conditioner as usual.  I don't have to wait for this product to soak in and if I still have make up on it removes it almost instantly.

You can get this face wash for £1 from Primark or from Boots for £3.25.  (I also noticed that Primark sold Bio Oil for just over £4).

Princess points: 5/5
This cleanser is up there with my Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel as one of my favourite face washes.  But at almost a 20th of the price I definitely recommend this one over Clarins.  It's really gentle on both my skin and eyes and does a good job at removing make up without drying out my skin.
